Gamma is building a scalable Growth team in San Francisco. You’ll lead engineering across monetization and product-led growth, shaping how users onboard, activate, and stay engaged while translating AI innovation into measurable business impact.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive durable systems, all within a fast-moving, high-scrutiny environment that values curiosity and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a senior+ engineer with substantial leadership experience.
• 2+ years managing and leading high-performing teams.
• Proven track record in growth engineering and activation/retention metrics.
• Experience with monetization or payments infrastructure.
• Ability to analyze funnel and propose improvements.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Able to review architecture and guide technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the engineering team across monetization infrastructure and product-led growth.
• Own the monetization platform: payments, subscriptions, billing, AI usage tracking, pricing.
• Own growth surfaces: onboarding, activation, lifecycle, in-product education, notifications.
• Collaborate across product, design, data, and other engineering teams.
• Build a fast-moving team while delivering durable shared systems.
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineers on the team.
• Identify opportunities or misalignment and address them at scale.
