Job summary

Chime is seeking a Growth Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of growth features across the stack, from React/TypeScript front-end to Rails/Go services. You will collaborate with product, design, data science, and marketing to rapidly experiment and measure impact.

The role emphasizes shipping measurable growth, improving activation and engagement, and driving scalable, high-quality code across the stack.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable software in production environments.
• Experience designing APIs and working with transactional databases and caching.
• Comfort owning a feature across the full stack and learning unfamiliar parts.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship growth-focused consumer features end to end – UI, services, and experiments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, data science, and marketing to identify growth opportunities.
• Prototype and launch A/B tests and iterate based on results and impact.
• Analyze feature performance post-launch to inform future growth strategies.
• Contribute to code quality and engineering best practices through reviews and mentorship.
