Chime Financial, Inc. is hiring a full-time Growth Engineer to work across the stack (React and TypeScript on the front end, Rails and Go services behind it) to ship growth-focused features.

You'll collaborate with product, design, data science, marketing, and analytics to run experiments that move activation, conversion, and engagement. The role requires 2+ years of production experience with modern front-end and server-side frameworks, API design, and a product-minded, metrics-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building scalable software in production.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework (React) and a server-side framework (Rails, Go).
• Experience designing APIs and working with transactional databases and caching.
• Comfort owning a feature across the full stack and willingness to learn new parts.
• Product-minded with bias toward experimentation and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship growth-focused consumer features end to end using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mobile, product, design, data science, and marketing.
• Prototype and launch A/B tests; iterate to improve activation, conversion, and engagement.
• Analyze feature performance post-launch to inform future growth strategies.
• Apply a metrics-driven approach to prioritize work based on impact.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and performance across the stack; mentor others.
