Job summary

Jackson's Food Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse technicians and leads, ensure on-time delivery, and manage inventory while maintaining strict safety and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Plant Manager and Director of Ops on quality improvements and ensuring accurate shipping documentation. The role requires forklift operation and a proactive, safety-focused leadership approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; one to three years related experience in food manufacturing or related manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• 4+ years’ experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
• Current forklift operator’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse technicians and leads to meet standards of on-time delivery, inventory management and shipping paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as employees, carriers, and clients.
• Ensure all team tasks are completed on a timely basis through developing and implementing processes and procedures to organize and prioritize the team’s workload.
• Become a subject matter expert in all areas related to receiving and inventory control of the warehouse.
• Ensure all required information is documented and forms are completed for received goods.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures; promote and maintain safety awareness.
