Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Utah State Bar.
• Experience in personal injury law.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks.
• Proven settlements and verdicts.
• Experience with case management software and technology.
• Spanish is helpful but not necessary.
• Commitment to learning from senior attorneys.
• Active ABA membership or good standing is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and gather evidence in personal injury cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Attend depositions and conduct witness interviews.
• Provide clients with regular updates on case status.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff on legal strategies.
• Maintain complete case files and documentation.
• Keep files organized for access by team.
• Assist clients in determining best course of action.
• Move cases toward resolution with senior attorneys.
• Draft documents for proceedings and negotiations.
