Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Associate Attorney for its Utah office. The candidate must be licensed in Utah and will collaborate with senior partners and associates.

Responsibilities include legal research, drafting documents, and managing client files to support career growth. Ideal candidates will have strong negotiation, writing, and communication skills, and a track record of settlements or favorable verdicts.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active status with Utah State Bar.
• ABA membership in good standing.
• Experience in personal injury law preferred.
• Spanish language skills helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case handling.
• Organize and maintain accurate files for attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Perform legal research and prepare for hearings or other legal proceedings.
• Analyze conflicts in legal matters and advise clients on solutions.
• Prepare correspondence and legal documents for contract negotiations and proceedings.
• Investigate and gather evidence related to personal injury cases.
• Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel to reach settlements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Attend depositions and conduct witness interviews.
• Provide clients with regular updates on case status.
• Collaborate with other attorneys to develop legal strategies and arguments.
• Maintain accurate and complete case files and documentation.
