Job summary

Joshua Tree Experts, the premier outdoor home service company, is seeking a Groundsman & PHC Tech to support a 2-4 person tree crew in removal, pruning, stump grinding, and PHC work. You will assist with equipment prep, safety drop zones, and customer service.

This full-time, year-round role offers training to obtain industry certifications, a safety-first culture, and opportunities for career advancement within a growing company in Plano, TX.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to work 40+ hours weekly.
• Ability to lift 25 lb and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team.
• PHC experience including spraying or soil injections preferred.
• TX Pesticide Applicator's License or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew with equipment and vehicle preparation daily.
• Ensure drop zones are safe for coworkers and the public.
• Perform pruning and reducing.
• Safely use tree care equipment (gas saws, pole saws, chippers).
• Load and unload trucks and chippers with logs, brush, debris.
• Follow directions from crew leaders and climbers; maintain/service equipment.
• Assist with Plant Health Care (PHC) services (spraying, soil injections, fertilization).
• Provide friendly customer service.
• Follow safety procedures and set up safety/traffic control at job sites.
• Report to work on time and maintain professional image.
