Job summary

Gila River Business Enterprises (GRBE) in Chandler, AZ seeks a Director of Store Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across GRBE’s portfolio, including Gila Gas & Goods and Sacaton Market. You will drive profitability, customer experience, and sustainable growth while leading the corporate staff and ensuring standards are met across locations.

The role requires strong financial acumen, staffing, and governance across budgets, forecasts, and KPI reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in retail, convenience store, grocery, hospitality, or a comparable operating environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading managers, corporate support teams, or multi-location operations.
• CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid AZ driver’s license, provide a 39-month satisfactory MVR report.
• A satisfactory result obtained through a test for illegal drugs.
• Acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for GRBE.
• Lead GRBE Corporate Staff and Sacaton Market leadership with clear priorities.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and KPI scorecards for all locations.
• Ensure staffing, inventory, merchandising, and store readiness.
• Oversee vendor relationships, pricing, promotions, and product assortment.
• Monitor customer trends and improve the customer experience.
