Job summary

Gila River Development in Chandler, AZ is seeking a District Manager of Store Operations to lead multiple Gila, Gas and Goods C-stores, drive sales growth, and strengthen profitability.

You will coach Store Managers, monitor KPIs, ensure customer service excellence, maintain standards, and implement strategic initiatives across locations. Evening and weekend availability and a valid AZ driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum five years of retail management experience is required.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid AZ driver’s license and a 39-month MVR report required.
• Tribal operator driving permit must be obtained at time of hire.
• Must pass drug screening and maintain a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of assigned Gila, Gas and Goods C-stores.
• Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to Store Managers and their teams.
• Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Coach and develop Store Managers to strengthen leadership and operational knowledge.
• Monitor stores to ensure customer service, merchandising, and standards are met.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, inventory controls, and safety compliance.
