Job summary

SecureSpace Management is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store, Area, and District Managers in achieving store goals. You will help boost sales, assist customers through rentals, and coordinate with the team to ensure security and cleanliness across locations.

The role requires at least 1 year in storage/retail/hospitality, strong English communication, and proficient MS Word/Excel skills. Travel to other stores is occasional; weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum (1) year of experience in storage, retail, or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in surpassing sales targets by promoting unit rentals, warranties, and moving supplies.
• Guide new customers through the rental process for smooth transactions.
• Reach out to potential clients to confirm moving dates and ensure units are ready and secure.
• Assist in lien/auction paperwork and manage past-due accounts.
• Conduct daily property inspections to maintain security and upkeep, including locks and cleanliness.
• Perform light gardening and use power tools for maintenance.
• Travel to nearby locations for scheduled shifts when needed.
• Be flexible for weekend and holiday work.
