Job summary

Magnolia Green Golf Club in Moseley, VA, part of Troon, is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will oversee food preparation for a kitchen area, supervise staff, ensure quality and cost control, and assist the Executive Chef with ordering and menu development.

Minimum qualifications include an AA degree or 2-3 years related experience, plus Food Safety and Sanitation training.

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages food preparation for a specific area of the kitchen.
• Supervises and ensures production of high-quality food.
• Maintains and implements daily food prep lists.
• Assists Executive Chef with ordering of all food products.
• Trains and supervises associates in proper preparation of menu items and operation of equipment.
• Ensures proper receiving, storage and rotations of food products per health regulations.
