Job summary

Rent One is seeking a Store Manager in a retail setting to lead a team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role focuses on building a high-performing staff, coaching employees, and ensuring a positive store culture that translates into a superior customer experience.

You will manage hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management while maintaining store operations, inventory, and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management or rent-to-own experience preferred; training provided.
• 2–4 years of supervisory or management experience in retail.
• Must have valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that complies with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Ensure employee engagement and motivation while fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Maximize store performance and efficiency through proper hiring, scheduling, training, performance management, and mentoring.
• Oversee and direct store management: security, cash, financials, marketing initiatives, deliverables, recordkeeping, legal requirements, and reporting activities.
• Oversee and direct inventory control and ensure merchandise is clean, attractive, and organized.
• Identify current and future customer requirements to stay responsive to market demands.
• Maintain the stability and reputation for the Rent One brand within the community served.
• Perform any other ad hoc tasks and/or responsibilities that arise during daily operations.
