Job summary

Dollar Tree in Longview, TX seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, process deliveries, and help supervise Associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and deposits; support loss prevention.
