• Staffing planning, scheduling, and disciplinary action in line with policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the general manager in overseeing every aspect of restaurant operations.
• Meet company P&L and expense goals.
• Understand and operate the business in accordance with company policies and training programs.
• Handle financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel payroll related administrative duties.
• Maximize sales and profits through management of food, operating supplies and labor costs.
• Establish and maintain appropriate staffing levels; make employment decisions per guidelines.
• Maintain employee files and handle terminations, coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure proper setup and cleanliness of service areas.
• Know bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations.
• Greet guests professionally and ensure compliance with alcohol service rules.
• Develop staff in operations, service, and sanitation standards; promote suggestive selling.
• Maintain positive employee relations and enforce company policies.
• Ensure food quality and freshness; correct handling, storage and recipe specs.
• Conduct inventories and ordering of all food and beverage items.
