Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing Inc in Hillside, IL is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a designated area, drive safety and quality, and ensure on-time production. The role emphasizes coaching teams, resolving conflicts, and implementing Lean 5S practices. The candidate will maintain staffing, train employees, and collaborate with Quality and Engineering to remove bottlenecks and improve metrics. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a supervisory role
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to train others and work with safety processes
• Proficiency with basic computer tools including Microsoft Office
• English language proficiency (Spanish bilingual a plus)

Responsibilities

• Coach safety, quality, productivity and on-time to production schedule
• Facilitate team communication and conflict resolution
• Address team concerns to maintain a positive environment
• Enforce policies and procedures to meet goals
• Monitor hourly staff performance and provide coaching or discipline
• Ensure safety compliance and quality of output
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering on issues
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvements
• Lead Lean initiatives and 5S in the work area
• Maintain cross-training coverage and staffing levels
• Support performance appraisals and compensation processes
• Communicate work instructions clearly and respectfully
