Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Production Supervisor to support day-to-day operations in a GMP environment. This role leads production teams, drives safety, and coordinates with engineering, maintenance and quality control to meet production targets.

You will monitor performance, develop staff with cross-training, and ensure cGMP practices are followed while optimizing processes and yields. A degree and 3 years supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, operations management or similar field.
• 3 years supervisory experience in chemical/perfumery/food/beverage manufacturing.
• Experience with LEAN Manufacturing and sanitation in a perfumery/food/beverage facility.

Responsibilities

• Drive a positive safety culture, aiming to prevent injuries.
• Develop and maintain reporting for production rates, yields, quality and costs.
• Identify process, equipment and training improvements and ensure GMP compliance.
• Coordinate production with engineering, maintenance and quality control.
• Troubleshoot issues with staff and equipment using root-cause analysis.
• Supervise, coach and develop production personnel with cross-training.
