Job summary

SECO Ecoplastic America in Register, GA is seeking an entry-level Production Associate to support the Paint department under a Production Supervisor. The role focuses on safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a 2nd shift environment, with opportunities to learn SOPs and improve production workflows.

Responsibilities include keeping a clean, safe work area, assisting leads, adhering to policies, and assisting with equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is required
• 1 year of continuous work experience required
• Ability to read and interpret work orders
• Ability to take supervision and follow all policies and procedures
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to constantly stand and walk on concrete floors wearing safety boots during an 8-12 hour shift.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to a SAFETY-FIRST culture.
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights.
• Must be proficient in speaking English

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following established safety policies and procedures.
• Support the Production Supervisor and Leads in daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Learn and adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and performance.
• Help manage the department's workflow to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products to both internal and external customers.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the use and maintenance of production tools and equipment.
• Provide support in tracking departmental performance measures and visual controls.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance employee relations and overall production effectiveness.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, always exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor.
