Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Personal Banker Associate I (Ford Beech Daly) in Dearborn Heights, MI. The role develops into Retail Personal Banker after onboarding, with rotations in operations and sales, and a national scope for customer relationships.

You will use a consultative approach to identify customer needs, cross-sell, and support a financial center team while handling teller duties and risk management. Training will cover policies, compliance, and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience with transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers.
• Ability to understand advanced math to analyze credit and financial information.
• Professional appearance and strong verbal/written communication.
• Knowledge of Retail policies and procedures; ability to use good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process and needs assessment to identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and upsell solutions.
• Reach out to customers using approved tools to set financial review appointments.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and conduct outside sales activities.
• Collaborate with partners for referrals to provide holistic solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and revenue targets.
