Job summary

CloudTen Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep across multiple communities in the Portland metro area. You will handle general maintenance tasks including appliance repair, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, pool upkeep, and custodial work, while keeping units rent-ready within 3–5 days of vacancy.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Superior customer service skills, ability to manage difficult customers and situations.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Willingness to respond promptly to after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks: appliance repair, basic painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, pool maintenance, and custodial work.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal and grounds cleanliness; ensure apartments are rent-ready within 3–5 days of vacancy.
• Respond to tenant service requests within 24 hours and update residents on delays.
• Conduct tool and equipment inventories and follow safety directives and MSDS policies.
• Assist with move-in/out inspections and participate in special maintenance projects.
