Job summary

Allied Motion, an Allient Inc. company, is seeking Assemblers to join our Watertown, NY team. The role supports manufacturing and assembly of motion control products, systems and motor components.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, organized individual to work in an established reputable manufacturing company. Responsibilities include loading/unloading machines, fastening, inspecting components, using prints and OMS, inventory cycle counts, and preparing documentation.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and follow routers.
• Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unload machines to perform fastening, force fitting, or light metal-cutting operations on assembly line.
• Inspects components and assemblies visually and with inspection tools.
• Uses prints, job orders, OMS, and work instructions to ensure proper materials and tools are used.
• Keeps inventory of materials in work area (cycle counts).
• Prepares required documentation.
