Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is looking for a Branch Manager in Tampa, FL to drive district growth and profitability while enforcing company policies. Your office is on-site, outdoor work environment, leading a skilled team and coordinating with account and production managers to ensure exceptional service.

You will oversee staff, cultivate client relationships, and promote safety, ethics, and teamwork across the district with opportunities for advancement in an employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Direct supervisory grounds maintenance experience with sales and account management performance.
• Knowledge of best management practices and plant materials for landscape horticulture.
• Preferred: turf, weed, tree and shrub ID and pathology knowledge.
• Preferred: relevant pesticide licenses and related certificates if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and grow the green team.
• Grow long-term relationships with customers by understanding and exceeding expectations with superior service.
• Drive multimillion-dollar revenues and branch profitability; expedite contracts and billing.
• Hire, train, inspire and develop branch staff.
• Coordinate crew work assignments with account managers and production managers.
• Participate in associations that promote and support business growth.
• Maintain focus on customer service, teamwork, ethics, and safety for clients and team.
