The role leads leadership and enforces company policies across the district and market served, with a focus on developing health care programs and client relationships.

Responsibilities include supervising teams, delivering tree care services, and educating customers while managing a wide range of client engagements.

Qualifications

• ISA Certified Arborist® required.
• Five years of related industry experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Regional plant and horticulture knowledge expected.
• Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized.
• Knowledgeable in tree care, hazard tree evaluation, IPM, and industry best practices.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law.
• Preferred: degree in a green industry (2 or 4 year).

Responsibilities

• Be a tree doctor that makes house calls.
• Educate residential and commercial customers on tree needs.
• Provide customers with estimates based on needs.
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
• Create and build relationships with new and existing clients.
• Set up, supervise, and train crew members, sales team, and office staff.
• As District Manager, provide direction to the team.
