Qualifications

• 1–4 years of accounting experience and exposure to general ledger accounting.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Perform balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Review account activity and research and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reporting.
• Manage accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other accounting schedules.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide documentation and schedules for audits.
