Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to own and evolve its WordPress-based web presence. You will develop themes, plugins, and features while ensuring performance, security, and accessibility. You’ll work closely with Marketing to support demand generation and customer engagement.

The role requires strong front-end and back-end skills, analytics familiarity, and a collaborative approach to improve conversion and marketing tech integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional full-stack web development experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the WordPress website and related properties.
• Develop custom WordPress themes, templates, plugins, and functionality.
• Build new features, landing pages, and microsites for campaigns.
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and fast websites across devices.
• Implement analytics tracking and CRO initiatives with marketing teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support demand and lead generation.
• Maintain security, hosting, backups, and performance optimization.
• Design scalable architectures to support growth and integrations.
