CFS is seeking a Family Office Tax Accountant to support tax, accounting, and financial affairs of ownership and related entities in Grand Rapids. This role focuses on high-net-worth individuals, trusts, partnerships, and closely held businesses while providing tax, financial reporting, and family office support.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, discreet, and able to collaborate with CPAs, attorneys, investment advisors, and financial institutions to gather and manage

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3+ years of accounting or tax experience, preferably in public accounting or family-office settings.
• Experience with individual, trust, partnership, and business tax returns is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and financial reporting principles.

Aufgaben

• Prepare individual, trust, partnership, and business tax returns with schedules.
• Assist with tax planning, projections, and estate planning analysis.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries for multiple entities.
• Monitor cash activity, coordinate transfers, and support financial reporting for ownership entities.
• Collaborate with CPAs, attorneys, investment advisors, and banks to gather information.
• Support special projects involving personal finances, investments, and business interests.
• Maintain confidential records with the highest level of discretion.
