Hantz Group, a Michigan-based financial firm, seeks an entry-level Tax Associate to join our Family Office. You will work with CPAs, accountants, and advisors, performing tax analysis, projections, and return preparation while learning the tax–financial services relationship.

You’ll collaborate with tax professionals to identify opportunities for clients and ensure compliance with industry regulations. This role offers growth across Michigan offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain Enrolled Agent designation.
• Ability to obtain an active PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
• Strong work ethic and professional accountability.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tax liability.
• Prepare tax projections and returns.
• Meet assigned goals.
• Attend meetings and trainings.
• Work with the Tax Team to assist in servicing clients.
• Comply with all industry rules and regulations.
