Farmers Cooperative Society seeks a Director of Business Operations for Member's Cut in Sioux Center, IA. Lead the meat retail business, drive growth, optimize operations, and ensure top-tier customer experience across sales, inventory, and cost management.

You will own financial performance, develop teams, and implement strategies to increase profitability while maintaining high food-safety standards. Strong leadership and owner-minded thinking are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of retail food management experience.
• Strong understanding of business finance, budgeting, and retail analytics.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food products, food safety, and inventory practices.
• Experience with POS and inventory systems; proficiency in Excel and business software.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily store operations including staffing, scheduling, training, and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations.
• Develop and implement retail and wholesale growth strategies for profitable top and bottom-line growth.
• Deliver high quality products in a high-end, high-service environment.
• Implement SOPs for quality assurance and service consistency.
• Manage store budgets, including labor costs, overhead, and COGS.
• Analyze profit margins, pricing, and vendor terms for profitability.
• Monitor sales performance and present reports to management.
• Identify opportunities for cost control and waste reduction.
• Oversee cash handling, reconciliations, banking, and financial reporting.
