The Farmers Co-Operative Society in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Retail Meat Customer Service Specialist to join our fresh meat counter team. You will greet customers, help them select products, weigh and package meat, and provide friendly service to build repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a welcoming way and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Assist customers at the fresh meat counter with product selection and questions.
• Weigh, price, package, and label fresh meat products accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked meat counter, paying attention to freshness and presentation.
• Manage and record inventory, dates, and inventory tracking.
• Learn products and confidently explain cuts, preparation methods, and cooking suggestions.
• Upsell and suggest additional products based on customer purchases.
• Recommend complementary items and encourage repeat business.
