FARMERS CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY seeks a dynamic Director of Business Operations for Member’s Cut, its premium retail meat division in Sioux Center, IA. You will drive profitable growth, own budgeting, pricing, and vendor terms, and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll shape strategy, optimize operations, ensure food safety, and build partnerships with vendors and the local community to strengthen the brand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail food management experience (meat retail preferred).
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and retail analytics knowledge.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations including staffing and training.
• Develop and implement growth strategies for profitability.
• Manage budgets, COGS, and vendor terms to maximize margins.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and customer experience at high standards.
• Oversee inventory, promotions, and in-store merchandising.
