Job summary

Kforce's client in Saginaw, MI is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead finance for a growing organization with an active acquisition strategy. This role focuses on strong leadership, partner with operations, and building scalable finance processes.

You will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, treasury, forecasting, AR/AP, and participate in ERP upgrades. Onsite at least two days a week, this position offers high visibility with executives and opportunities to shape strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Controller experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environments.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with cash flow management, treasury, and forecasting.
• Exposure to ERP implementations, migrations, or system integrations.
• Willing to be onsite in Saginaw at least two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key finance leader and business partner within a dynamic organization
• Lead financial reporting, consolidations, and month-end close activities
• Oversee treasury functions, cash management, and forecasting
• Manage and develop AR/AP processes and support staff
• Drive process improvements and standardization across multiple business units
• Support acquisitions, integrations, and ongoing growth initiatives
• Partner on ERP implementation, conversion, and optimization projects
