Job summary

AMSURG, a national leader in ambulatory surgery center services, seeks a Director of Development to drive growth through M&A, joint ventures, and de novo developments. You will manage the full business development lifecycle, from sourcing and relationship building to transaction execution.

The role requires developing relationships with ASC owners, physicians, and health system executives; collaborating with senior leadership; and traveling up to 60% to advance opportunities across assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years in corporate development or transactions.
• MBA and multi-site healthcare deal experience strongly preferred.
• Experience sourcing and executing physician and health-system transactions.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Source ASC opportunities via de novos, acquisitions and partnerships.
• Manage relationships with ASC owners, physicians, and health-system executives.
• Lead transaction structuring, pro forma development and closing with M&A team.
