RealDefense, LLC, a multi-brand consumer software company in Los Angeles, is hiring a Data Scientist, Growth to build our analytics capability from the ground up. You will measure what moves LTV, test strategies, and own production predictive models.

You'll partner with Marketing and Product, design robust experiments, analyze retention and churn, and communicate clear recommendations to executives. This role blends analytics rigor with business impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in marketing, retention, growth, or product analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and data wrangling.
• Proficiency in Python or R for modeling.
• Applied statistics foundation: regression, hypothesis testing.
• Understanding of causal inference concepts.
• Experience with cohort analysis and LTV modeling.

Responsibilities

• Measure what actually moves LTV, including effects of product launches, pricing, and media mix.
• Own model performance in production: monitor drift and diagnose issues.
• Build the foundation for retention and lifecycle analytics, forecasting, and reusable metrics.
• Turn analyses into clear executive recommendations with confidence judgments.
