Job summary

People Inc. in New York is seeking a Growth & Content Strategy Manager for Commerce News & Deals to drive audience and revenue growth through search, audience strategy, performance analysis, experimentation, automation, and scalable insights.

Reporting to the Director of Growth & Content Strategy, you will partner with editorial teams to identify opportunities, monitor performance across SERP, Discover, and social channels, and develop iterative content strategies that inform faster, smarter

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in SEO, audience development, growth strategy, digital publishing, commerce, or related fields.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to independently move projects from idea through execution and measurement.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Experience building polished presentations in Google Slides is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of SEO fundamentals, search intent, and SERP behavior across algorithmic platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities that grow audience, engagement, and commerce revenue across each environment.
• Review performance across organic search, Google Discover, Apple News, social platforms, and other key channels; provide actionable analysis.
• Study search demand around consumer trends and opportunities around product launches, sales events, and trending moments.
• Own and create recurring analyses, dashboards, and reporting to help teams make better decisions.
• Build and improve automated workflows using tools such as n8n, Google Apps Script, APIs, webhooks, and Google Sheets.
• Automate recurring data collection, reporting, monitoring, and distribution; maintain reporting for QA.
• Connect data across systems to improve visibility into audience, content, and affiliate performance.
