Job summary

Elderly Care Law Firm in South Florida seeks a Director of Operations to translate vision into actionable plans and robust operational systems. You will drive profitability, coordinate leadership across departments, and ensure programs are executed with accountability and measurable results.

The role requires an experienced leader who can partner with the Owner, challenge ideas respectfully, and scale the organization while preserving culture and client experience.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a growing professional-services setting.
• Law firm leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Track record turning strategy into measurable results.
• Strong financial acumen including budgets, profitability, and ROI.
• Knowledge of KPIs, dashboards, accountability, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Owner's vision into clear plans, priorities, owners, deadlines, budgets, KPIs, and results.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure departmental effectiveness.
• Lead, coach, and hold department leaders accountable for performance.
• Build scalable systems, workflows, SOPs, and accountability structures.
• Create and monitor firmwide KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and projects.
• Identify operational problems and solve them before escalation.
• Partner with leadership on strategic growth and new markets expansion.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, staffing costs, profitability, cash flow, and ROI.
• Improve efficiency, technology adoption, and use of firm systems.
• Strengthen the client journey from initial contact to completion, reviews, and referrals.
• Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, leadership development, and difficult personnel decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing, business development, intake, sales, legal, finance, HR, and administration.
• Protect and strengthen the firm culture and core values as the organization grows.
