Grainger, a leading broad line distributor, is seeking a data-driven analyst to develop metrics, dashboards, and reports that inform business decisions across core growth drivers. You will collaborate with teams across the enterprise to advance best practices and deliver actionable insights.

The role emphasizes partnering with Sr. Managers and Directors to influence strategic decisions, while maintaining accuracy and timely delivery of internal and external reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years experience in a related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SQL, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP BO, etc.), Snowflake, Teradata and/or other database/reporting tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely and accurate reports for internal and external partners and customers.
• Support improvement initiatives and system development efforts with department leadership.
• Collaborate with end-users to answer questions and provide insights about reports.
• Correlate metrics and structure data to tell a complete story of analysis and results.
• Maintain daily operation of existing reports to ensure accuracy.
• Fix any reports that are not running properly and streamline reporting processes.
• Demonstrate ability to leverage business acumen and technical skills to deliver results.
