Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is hiring a Physical Therapist in Torrance, CA. The role focuses on patient evaluation, treatment planning, and hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and function.

The candidate must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and be licensed or eligible for licensure in California; outpatient experience is preferred. A collaborative team environment and ongoing professional development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• DPT degree from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, mobility, and functional abilities.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and patient goals, considering evidence-based practices.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in compliance with regulations and clinic policies.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, home exercise programs, and preventative care strategies.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and best practices in physical therapy.
