Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist in Torrance, California, to join our in-facility team reporting to the Director of Rehab. You will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to restore function.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork with other clinicians, and education for patients and caregivers. A PT license and PT degree are required, with opportunities for growth, mentorship, and ongoing CEUs.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or an equivalent combination with licensing eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressive PT experience.
• Degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated for U.S. equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans.
• Deliver physical therapy services to restore function.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and educators for patient care.
• Train patients and caregivers to promote independence.
• Adapt therapy to patient and setting, and provide referrals when needed.

Education

Master's degree in Physical Therapy

Master's degree in PT related field + Bachelor's in PT

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy + 5 years PT experience
