Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, seeks a results‑driven Agricultural Sales Representative based in Nebraska. You will develop new prospects, interact with growers to increase sales of agricultural inputs, and ensure on‑time delivery and product quality while meeting profit margin goals.

You will also advise on proprietary products, assist with credit review, and support accounts receivable efforts, leveraging your industry knowledge and computer skills to grow the business

Qualifications

• University degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience required
• 2+ years’ experience in agriculture industry and chemical applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals. Manage sales to meet profit margin goals
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including, but not limited to on time and accurate delivery and quality of product
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues. Resolve issues associated with adverse product results
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk. Provide necessary information to Credit Manager in order to choose credit limits
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers
• Perform other duties as assigned
