Job summary

CNDUIT in Washington state is seeking a Grow Team member to take ownership of grow rooms and care for plants daily. You will be goal driven, detail oriented, and good at communicating as part of a collaborative team including sprayers and maintenance technicians.

The role requires willingness to analyze your own work, make adjustments on the fly, and follow safety practices. Work schedule is 8:00 am–4:30 pm with overtime as needed; health, dental, and vision insurance after probation and a 401k

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own flower rooms and maintain plant health through daily check-ins and environment adjustments.
• Monitor irrigation, nutrients, EC, pH and temperature and adjust schedules.
• Perform regular plant maintenance including pruning and canopy management.
• Communicate with support teams about plant happiness and equipment issues.
• Track room metrics, document logs, and analyze harvest data for improvements.
• Maintain clean grow rooms and ensure sanitary practices; use PPE as required.
• Support other team members and assist with pest management as needed.

The Role

We are looking for people passionate about both success and the product to join our Grow Team to take ownership of grow rooms and care for plants on a daily basis. Being goal driven, detail oriented and good at communicating is the name of the game on the Grow Team. A desire to analyze your own work under a microscope and make adjustments on the fly is a plus! This role requires consistent collaboration with other experienced growers and a support team such as sprayers and maintenance technicians to deliver best in class products.

Responsibilities

• Own flower rooms and maintain plant health through daily check-ins, evaluation of plant health and happiness, spot watering of plants, canopy management, and making adjustments to room environment or grow process as needed
• Monitor and maintain irrigation system including nutrient mixing, monitoring of nutrient EC, pH, and temperature, and adjusting auto irrigation cycle as needed
• Complete regular plant maintenance as needed including but not limited to popping, topping, defoliating, and weaving
• Communicate with support teams and management continuously regarding plant happiness, pest outbreaks, and equipment issues (irrigation, tables, lights, etc.)
• Monitor temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels daily according to company standards and make adjustments as needed
• Support other grow team members throughout the grow as needed, including spraying for pest management, supporting colleagues in other grow rooms, or supporting outside of grow rooms
• Timely completion of work per schedule and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and process improvement recommendations
• Ensure accurate plant inventory including strain names per tray and count of plants Keep documented logs and notes of room metrics and plant care actions for company records
• Analyze data of current and past harvest cycles to continuously improve our grow processes and standards
• Maintain clean grow rooms and workspaces at all times by regularly sanitizing tools, equipment, and grow rooms to ensure sanitary practices and to keep pests away UsePPE as required: gloves, lab coat, tinted eye protection
• Perform all other duties as necessary and any additional duties assigned by your supervisor/manager

Requirements

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Have strong service and quality focus. Address issues effectively when problems arise and take initiative to understand the root cause, then communicate / educate the team in a timely manner.

Additional Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.

Physical Demands – Must be able to:

• Work on your feet for 8-10 hours a day besides breaks and lunch
• Work in crouched or uncomfortable positions including repetitive motions for extended periods of time
• Work in the dark with only green lamps for several hours at a time
• Lift and carry up to 70 lbs
• Regularly move up to 40 lbs
• Work time expectation: 80-90% of the time will be physical labor

Working Hours:

• Five day work week defined by the needs of the business: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
