Job summary

Native Oaks Golf Club in Valley Center, CA, seeks a full-time Assistant Golf Professional to support daily golf operations and guest service. You will assist with sales, merchandise, and POS, manage handicap/tee sheets, and help in golf shop duties under the Head Golf Professional.

The role requires PGA involvement or PGAPGM enrollment, 2+ years in golf operations, and open weekend availability. A strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and professional presentation is essential.

Qualifications

• AA or two+ years related experience and/or training.
• 2+ years of experience in golf course operations.
• Current PGA member or PGAPGM enrollment.
• Open availability on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations including sales, merchandise, and POS.
• Manage handicap and tee sheet applications; work as ranger, starter, or guest relations.
• Support golf shop shifts and staging, maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with procurement/merchandising and event preparation for outings.
• Ensure policy compliance and provide exceptional customer service.
