Job summary

Kiewit Corporation is seeking a Grout Tester to support grout and concrete testing and QA within foundation operations. The role focuses on witnessing tests, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety rules.

Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, reviewing grout tickets, and communicating production updates. Candidates should be able to work in a construction environment and pass required safety and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and supervision.
• Proficient in safe and efficient use of electrical, hand, power, and layout tools.
• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• Must understand safety and project rules on a construction site.

Responsibilities

• Witness and document all grout testing activities.
• Quality and control production monitoring within foundation operations.
• Verify grout deliveries and ensure specification compliance.
• Review grout tickets and monitor grout placement timelines.
• Recommend fluidifier adjustments based on testing results.
• Coordinate truck assignments and delivery sequencing with drilling operations.
• Track grout quantities and communicate production updates to the crew.
• Coordinate with batch plants to ensure sufficient grout supply for upcoming shifts.
• Follow instructions given by superintendents and foreman.
• Perform all required duties with safety as the first focus.
• Keep work areas clean and in orderly conditions.
