Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Kenosha, Wisconsin is seeking a QC Technician to observe fabrication of precast concrete structures and perform daily testing of concrete in compliance with Oldcastle standards and state regulations.

The role requires QC experience in concrete, familiarity with ACI/PCI guidelines, and the ability to document observations and implement corrective actions in a busy manufacturing environment. This position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• QC experience in concrete/related industry.
• ACI/PCI certification preferred or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.
• Minimum 3 years of concrete experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily testing of concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre- and post-pour inspections of products.
• Maintain records of observations for every structure produced.
• Report process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns to production team.
• Write a Corrective Action Report for each defective product.
• Assist the sales team to respond to customer complaints about product quality.
• Ensure correct implementation of QC program in Kenosha.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
