Job summary

24 Hour Fitness USA, LLC is seeking a Group X Coach to lead pre-choreographed and freestyle group classes at Fountain Valley (CA). You will coach, motivate, and guide members of varying fitness levels while delivering safe, high-quality sessions in person or via virtual platforms.

The role emphasizes member engagement, timely class delivery, and strong customer service to maintain a welcoming club environment. Prior group-experience and current certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current approved group exercise primary certification for taught format.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous group exercise instruction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach pre-choreographed or freestyle group sessions to a wide variety of members.
• Present sessions in a welcoming, encouraging and challenging way.
• Ensure safety and high-quality instruction by teaching safe techniques and guidelines.
• Increase member attendance by connecting with and motivating others.
• Maintain an average of coaching at least 2 classes per week.
• Deliver exceptional customer service before and after group sessions or classes.
• Handle member concerns or direct to appropriate club management.
• Report broken equipment and maintenance needs to club management.
• Recruit new members to join classes.
• Start and finish group sessions on time as scheduled.
• Support the Service Promise of Clean, Friendly and Well Maintained Club by keeping equipment organized.
