Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field required.
• Equivalent education and experience may substitute for a degree.
• 5 years' experience as a Group Underwriter or equivalent in health insurance underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Develop renewal rates and premiums for enrolled individuals or groups in compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Propose meaningful benefit and funding alternatives with Sales to meet client objectives.
• Analyze underwriting information to rate prospective individuals and groups accurately.
