Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking Underwriters I–Senior with strong analytical skills and business acumen to evaluate group eligibility and risk, setting appropriate rates. The role supports hybrid work with in-office days across several cities, including Renton.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in business, math, statistics, or related field and progressive experience. Proficiency with Excel, Word, Salesforce, and underwriting systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, math, statistics, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• For Level II: Bachelor's plus minimum 3 years of related experience.
• For Level III: Bachelor's plus minimum 5 years of related experience.
• For Senior: Bachelor's plus minimum 8 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow underwriting guidelines, policies, and formulas to develop and assign rates for new and renewal groups.
• Verify employer eligibility to purchase and renew group products.
• Audit new and renewing groups for compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Maintain complete records and documentation in underwriting systems.
• Utilize StepWise, Salesforce, and claims systems in underwriting processes.
• Prepare memos communicating changes in rates or benefits.
