The Boys’ Club of New York Inc. is seeking tutors to work in small groups with boys aged 6–12 who require special education instruction and modifications. You will administer diagnostics when appropriate, support other tutors, and help create targeted programs and clubs.

Tutors will work in small groups with boys between 6-12 years of age, who require special education instruction and modifications, administer diagnostics on boys with academic needs when appropriate, support other tutors in their instruction techniques, and help create strong programs (such as specific clubs or preparation courses).
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Special Education, and/or other highly relevant field; At least 2 years of experience as a tutor or classroom teacher; Comfort with students and subject content for high school level; Teacher certification or formal education experience strongly preferred; knowledge of NYC school standards a plus.
