Job summary

SUN Outpatient Center in Erlanger, KY is expanding its clinical team and seeking a dedicated Group-Based Therapist to support adults in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role emphasizes group facilitation, interdisciplinary teamwork, and delivering high-impact mental health treatment in a structured outpatient setting.

A master’s degree and Kentucky licensure are required; licensure supervision is offered, and you will work with a talented

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required (SW, CMHC, MFT or related field)
• Active KY clinical license (CSW, LPCA, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC preferred)
• Experience facilitating therapeutic groups in mental health or substance use treatment

Responsibilities

• Lead structured, evidence-based group sessions for PHP and IOP
• Tailor interventions using CBT, DBT, interpersonal process and psychoeducation
• Maintain clinical documentation reflecting quality and depth
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, NPs, nurses and care coordinators to inform patient care plans
