Job summary

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health in Greater Cincinnati seeks a Group Therapy Lead to deliver direct therapeutic support to children and adolescents through evidence-based group sessions and crisis management, maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, document outcomes, collaborate with families, schools and partners, and ensure timely, compliant clinical documentation while upholding licensure and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio licensure in LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC is required.
• Master’s degree is required for this role.
• Experience in office, school, and/or mental health treatment settings.
• Ability to implement behavior modification strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, therapeutic environments with youth.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Services.
• Build and maintain strong, therapeutic rapport with clients.
• Facilitate structured group therapy using evidence-based interventions.
• Implement behavior support plans (BSPs) and crisis management strategies.
• Apply CPI and de-escalation techniques during crisis situations.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with families, guardians, school personnel, and internal teams.
• Participate in supervision, case consultations, and weekly treatment team meetings.
• Collaborate with partners to meet individual and program goals.
• Use data to inform treatment planning and clinical decisions.
• Contribute to meeting quarterly quality and performance targets.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, billing and professional standards.
• Complete documentation and billing accurately and on time.
• Update schedules and documentation in Credible.
• Utilize Credible reports to track client outcomes and performance.
• Ensure group spaces are prepared, safe, and stocked.
