Job summary

Hope's Destiny, an outpatient treatment center in Horsham, PA, seeks a Part-time Group Facilitator for morning sessions (9am–1pm) handling adolescents and adults with co-occurring disorders. You will lead therapeutic groups, collaborate with clinicians, and implement evidence-based practices to support recovery and wellness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Certified or licensed as a counselor, social worker, or related mental health professional preferred but not required.
• Experience facilitating group therapy in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery-oriented practices.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate therapeutic group sessions for clients with substance use disorders.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to develop group curricula and treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and techniques for mental health issues.
• Provide psychoeducation on coping skills, stress management, and relationships.
• Foster a safe, respectful group climate encouraging open communication.
• Monitor group dynamics and progress; adjust interventions as needed.
• Document attendance, participation, and progress per policies.
• Collaborate with case managers and therapists for coordinated care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethics in group facilitation.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and professional development.
