Job summary

Connections Wellness Group in Frisco, TX, is seeking a Group Therapist to lead group psychotherapy within PHP/IOP settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement evidence-based curricula focused on reducing symptoms and building coping skills.

The role requires a Master's degree in social work or counseling, an active state license, CPR, and Avade training during orientation week. In-person work Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or counseling and current state license.
• Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency populations preferred.
• CPR certification and Avade training during orientation week.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions for psychological, emotional, or substance use problems.
• Contributes to treatment planning and updates.
• Participates in discharge, transition, and after-care planning.
• Provides family session counseling when appropriate.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintains HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance in all communications.
